The Hawaii Coral Reef Initiative supports monitoring and research activities to build capacity to more effectively manage Hawaii’s coral reef ecosystems. HCRI-RP works with researchers from county, state, and federal agencies and private organizations to achieve project goals.

• Projects: Diverse research projects that attempt to assess the major threats posed to coral reef ecosystems, and advance our understanding of the biological and physical processes that affect the health of coral reefs.
• Scholarly Works: Scholarly papers and presentations produced by HCRI-sponsored scientists to expound upon their findings.
